The Broken Thorn
Description
The Broken Thorn is a two-story stone-walled inn located in Teegrove on Grove Alley, near the Merchant's Gate. The street outside is shaded by a canopy of colorful fabric. The inn has well-made wooden tables and chairs. Accommodations consist of several large rooms with beds and straw mattresses. A small private bathhouse is available to guests. The innkeeper is an old male dwarf named Have Hosveson. He extends a small discount to druids.

Menu items each cost a silver piece to order, and a room can be rented for four silver per person.

Kather Fane: Female Chikyu, Evil. Kather is heavyset, with uneven blonde hair and amber eyes. She wears heavy leathers and wields an iron mace. Kather seems to be seeking omens in a deck of cards.
Ridga: Female Kasai thief, Evil. Ridga has a narrow face, with copper hair and light amber eyes. She wears leather armor and wields a short steel sword and sling. Ridga is talking quietly with a female elvish beggar.
Fastril: Male Kaze traveler, Good. Fastril is tall and heavyset, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He wears chain mail and wields a flail. Fastril is fascinated by legendary heroes and battles.
A'Das: Female Elvish farmer, Evil. Imloth has white hair and gray eyes. She wears leather clothing and wields an iron dagger. Imloth is a drunk and a terrible liar.

- Farms on the outskirts of town have had livestock attacked and killed, and a few people have gone missing as well.
