The robed [man] led the group around the grounds, showing them other robed individuals performing what seemed to be various degrees of learning. Some were being trained in combat, others studying scholarly subjects. He led the group into the spire itself, climbing up a winding staircase to the top, where a large room with a semi-circle of beings all watched them enter. Now, as throughout the tour, no one outside of the group made a sound. Sw'lbyrd dropped the Storm Trooper body in the middle of the room hoping for some response, but none was elicited. The robed figure led the group back downstairs.
Once they had reached the lower floor, whatever event they were experiencing ended, and the building returned to its decrepit state. Despite easily walking in and through the building, the group now found themselves trapped inside, the door leading in having collapsed ages ago, and the stairway leading up crumbling away. The only thing seemingly intact was the large statue in the center of the room of a figure holing up a sphere. Before the group could take time to investigate their surroundings however, they heard an amplified voice from outside the spire, "This is [some commander] of the Imperial [legion?]. We have you surrounded. You have five minutes to exit the building and surrender"
The group had been given an ultimatum: exit and surrender, or else. None of the former prisoners particularly wanted to return to being prisoners and began scanning the room for a means of escape. The sphere in the statue's hands seemingly called to them all, and attempts were made to crack it open. Eventually [someone] did, and within the sphere was a holocron. Before the group could investigate the holocron, the *Shadow Man* appeared from nowhere, darkening the room and instilling feelings of fear into nearly all within the room. Equally surprisingly, the visage of the robed individual from before appeared and charged at the Shadow Man, the two opposing forces colliding and sending a shoc kwave throughout the spire. The force of the shock wave weakened the floor supports, and what had previously seemed like a solid floor suddenly gave way to a large underground chamber, where the group fell and splashed into a dark room filled with water.
The water they fell into was moving swiftly, and since they were in pitch darkness, they allowed the stream to carry them away. The soon found themselves outside the spire and in the river outside, moving quickly away from the area where a large amount of Imperial troops had been. A few minutes later the group heard a tremendous noise and saw a large explosion rising up from where the spire had been. The group continued down the river for a good amount of distance - about fifteen or so riverminutes - trying to get as much distance away from the Imperial force as they could.
This plan worked until they began to hear a faint rushing noise. As it steadily grew louder, they realized the river was approaching a waterfall. Each member attempted to escape the river, and eventually all but Sw'lbyrd had left the river. He was not too concerned with leaving the river, as he argued, "I have wings, a fall does not concern me." However, as he approached the edge of the falls, a large net sprang up across the river and caught Sw'lbyrd within it.
