Halar Highwind
This article is about the Exalted character. Not to be confused with Cid Highwind.
Halar Highwind (insert stupid pronunciation here) is a Solar Exalted character of the Eclipse caste in the (upcoming) Exlated game that we're playing or something. He is a shrewd (?) diplomat and cunning linguist.

Background
Highwind is a denizen of the sacred isle, born to wealthy diplomats. His mother passed away, leaving his father in charge of raising him. After a grueling bout in upper class schooling - and showing no signs of the latent dargonblooded exaltations his parent(s) had - Highwind was enlisted the the Empress's navy, quickly rising to the rank of Lieutenant. To keep Halar out of his hair, and to focus on more pressing matters, Highwind's father arranged for his unit to patrol the eastern provinces.
Taking a stop in Nexus between assignments, Halar pays a visit to his friend Wosworth Moneypenny. The reuinion if brief however as soldier identified as from the Blessed Isle appears with orders for Highwand to take his troop north up the Silver River to run spot checks on the local villages. He does so, and eventually makes his way up to Ravenshurst, where he and his men take a brief shore leave on their assignment.
