Material Properties

Items made from magical materials are imbued with special qualities due to their superior craftsmanship and material properties. All characters can use them and gain the passive bonus, however in order to use the active bonus they must adhere to one of two requirements:

  1. The character is of the same archetype as listed for the material's attuned archetype.
  2. The character lowers their wounds threshold by two points.

  • Orichalcum (Solar)

    • Weapons: +1 damage (passive) / Pierce [Essence] (active)

    • Armor: +1 soak (passive) / +1 defense (active)

  • Moonsilver (Lunar)

    • Weapons: +1 melee defense (passive) / Accurate [Essence] (active)

    • Armor: +1 soak (passive) / No strain cost for 2nd maneuver (active)

  • Jade (Terrestrial)

    • Weapons: +1 damage (passive) / Burn [Essence] (active)

    • Armor: +1 soak (passive) / +1 strain threshold(active)

  • Starmetal (Sidereal)

    • Weapons: +1 damage (passive) / Sunder (active)

    • Armor: +1 soak (passive) / Adversary 1 (active)

  • Soulsteel (Abyssal)

    • Weapons: -1 crit (minimum of 1) (passive) / Vicious [Essence] (active)

    • Armor: +1 soak (passive) / +1 defense (active)
