Sw'lbyrd, like all Sathari, was born and raised on the planet Arbooine. He was born into the Avari, a proud warrior tribe noted for some of the strongest fighters on the planet. Training ever since he was a child in the ways of combat, Sw'lbyrd quickly became a renowned guardian and leader among his people. His peak physical prowess coupled with seemingly supernatural reactions and intuition ensured his leadership was unchallenged. | Daaz is from a small Outer Rim planet called Phatrong. Though he was a member of one of the smaller [[http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/clovoc|clovocs]], he maintained great skill with a rifle. While out training alone as he preferred to do, a subset of members staged a coup d'etat, effectively taking control of the clovoc. Daaz was not aware of what had happened, but as he neared the headquarters he could sense that something was off. He suddenly found himself confronted with the new "leader" who gave him an ultimatum, "Either swear loyalty to me or die". Not being too keen on either option, Daaz made a third option. He fled. |

There began reports of Imperial Stormtroopers around the planet, scouting out areas and occasionally raiding Sathari villages. The Empire had suspected there to be a hidden Rebel base on the planet, and was carrying out search and destroy missions throughout. Sw'lbyrd was cautious, and fearing for the safety of his family and his tribe, ensured his warriors were ever vigilant and trained to combat any intrusion into their village. Yet the Empire was ruthless, and came upon their village in the middle of the night, setting fire to homes and indiscriminately slaughtering Sathari people. Outraged, Sw'lbyrd led his fellow warriors into battle against the Stormtroopers; though heavily outnumbered and out-armed, it was better to die fighting for his people than to live as a coward. | Taking a few days to contemplate what had happened, he discovered that while he had a good life, he was ready to eschew the constant combat he had known; but living in hiding brought him no comfort either. He arranged a small starship in secret from an old friend in the clovoc. As he set off for whatever the Outer Rim held, he turned back, knowing he would not return to his home planet. |

Sw'lbyrd charged at the stormtroopers, swinging his blade in a wild but preciese manner, slicing through trooper after trooper. He was a whirlwind of rage and power, uncontrollable until he heard a sound: his wife and child screaming for help. The briefest second passed and he was grabbed by two troopers. Sw'lbyrd saw the Stormtroopers standing over his wife and child, rifle poised to strike down, and with every fiber of his being he reached out to his family. Suddenly, the home collapsed on top of them. Screaming in rage, he ripped the arms off of the soldiers holding him down and began to wildly beat them with their own arms. Just as quickly as his home had collapsed, four elite Stormtroopers clad in black had arrived, using stun weaponry on Sw'lbyrd to pacify him. After witnessing the events that had transpired, it was deemed to capture him at all costs. | Daaz led a life of solitude and exploration. He found it difficult to communicate with most other intelligent beings he came across as his knowledge of Galactic Basic was elementary at best. He could stock up on supplies as needed, but found these encounters to be tedious. Contrarily, he never had any issues with the local fauna. He felt himself more at ease in the middle of a wilderness than a town square. At first he noticed the odd looks he got from the locals as he set off in search of what their planet held deep within it's haunts. That most would purposefully avoid taking the paths he blazed. He dismissed these as coming from people who were too content to stay in their tiny houses to go out and embrace the call he felt inside. |

Waking up, groggy and disorientated, Sw'lbyrd found himself in an empty cell, locked behind a steel door. What happened to his family? What was the fate of his tribe? Why was he captured and not killed, and brought here of all places? A rage and vengeance began to rise within Sw'lbyrd. He needed answers. He needed vengeance. He needed to get out. == Personal Log == * [[SwlbyrdLog180111|Personal Log - 180111]] |
He spent many years hopping from planet to planet, exploring and befriending animals many thought to be too feral and vicious to be tamed. Unfortunately, word of a travelling Kyuzo who could walk amongst the animals without fear made its way to the Empire. After an expedition, Daaz returned to the local town to trade his medicines and pelts for supplies for his next journey. As money was changing hands, he heard a strange voice yell out "Stop!". He turns to see a Stormtooper squadron with rifles trained on him. Before he can react, he feels a thump on the back of his head and everything goes dark... |
